We are excited to that so much of the rebuilding effort has been completed, we are now able to have all of our regular activities again and many new ones.
Our events include concerts, games, dominos, book club, Golden Brush, ping pong, shuffleboard, along with breakfasts and rummage sales.

GoFundMe - Septic System
The St. James City Civic Association urgently needs a new septic system after a tropical storm caused a collapse. We've made incredible progress in repairs from Hurricane Ian, but our funds are nearly depleted. We are hopeful our community can rally again to help us raise $15,000. A functioning septic system is crucial for hosting our beloved events like Big Breakfasts, Bingo Nights, and performances. Our Story
History Lesson
In 1961 a few ladies from this area attended the hobby club at Matlacha, then decided we should have our own club for this area. In Jan 1962 the first meeting was held in the home of Marie Gardner with 12 ladies present. The second week Bernice Strong was hostess to 15 ladies and the third week Olive LaVoy was hostess to 16 ladies.
