Does the writer's location really matter?

I have been reading about website writing because I want my pages to sound more natural and helpful. Some people recommend using a content writing service USA, while others say location does not matter if the writing is good. I am not sure what to believe since I have never worked with a writer before. Do you think experience is more important than location? What has been your experience? Need suggestions
